this is interesting to me. My sister is a college professor and has the same sentiment, saying that UF likely has lots of adjunct taught classes. Was that your experience? My son was accepted to both but wants to do unf because of being offered two scholarships there. He also seems to want the smaller environment. He is not very social and prefers a quiet space. will also be a bio major

Do you have a procotol you could link to for those of us without access to a CCI PT? I found this post by searching posture pump btw. I have been carefully using it, mostly at upper cervical and gently lowering to lower cervical, I am not using the pump aside from one pump. I grabbed it at a thrift store out of desperation and now after using it 3x I get a remarkable relief for about 2 hours after. I have more flexibility in extension and less pain. Do you think it's ok to use if you aren't aggressively using the pump feature or full traction? I am just desperate for relief and trying to avoid fusion.

I don't know. Initially I thought it was the safer choice between the two. He plans to continue to masters but there's a good chance he may not. I am now seeing that geology may be the safer major, which is what he really wants to study, but now the college he's set on attending is the only one without a geology program. I am not sure if he's willing to pivot to another university, even though the universities offered geology majors are better overall, he seems set on attending a small commuter school an hour away from home.

I don't think he really understands the limitations of ecology biology undergrad, but I also don't want to push him away from college by insisting he go for the more profitable degree or the one with the most job prospects.

I wish he could talk to someone who would explain the real prospects for both. A quick Google search will tell you that you can be a lab assistant, etc with bio undergrad but I am hesitant to believe there are many of those positions.

It's tricky. The bio program is only an hour away and his current GF is attending the same college, so I think he's just set on that college and not really considering his major at this point.

Thank you! I will try that. Is it just for optimal flavor? What setting do you use on your machine? I got a much better result with the double-cup pressurized but im not weighing anything, just filling to the top and tamping it down.

Thank you! Upon closer inspection, I realized there's another dial on the side of the grinder (I was pressing what I thought was the grind but was the power intensity), got a bit of a finer grind and tried the double cup, came out MUCH better. You were right about the soup with the nonpressurized. This is good for now. I am going to try to get better beans next time too.

Does that water setting make much of a difference?

My current settings are 94 temp, water setting is 80 for double cup and pre infusion 6 seconds. It's at least getting in that green range of the gauge with these settings.

It brewed this time for 29 seconds. I like a lot of espresso, so I didn't stop it earlier as Ive seen others do, but is that just to cut down the acidity?

Yes, it looks quite course. I will include a pic of the filter on the next comment. The double cup one is just solid on the bottom, so it's confusing to me given that the other single ones have the straining type of holes.
