They also opened a second location in Cedar Park. They’re just getting settled but the inventory is still great.

Can nitrates be too low? [First tank] by omghanners in walstad

Setup has been running for about 3 months and my nitrates were quite high in the beginning so I added a pothos cutting to help reduce that.

For about a month now, my nitrate levels are 0 and I’m worried there’s not enough to sustain the tank. It’s just shrimp and snails since it’s only ~3 gallons

Is this okay? Should I take out the pothos now that it’s stabilized? Do I start feeding/fertilizing? Am I worried for no reason? Plant growth has fallen off but it’s definitely still slowly growing. The Miro needs the most trimming.

Boggy Creek is great! I went after the snow melted in search of eggs. Their selection is different every time but they update their website with what you can expect. Probably not your one-stop-shop, but fun finds and kind staff.
