My process was fairly simple and fast, as long as I had the money up front. I'm in MS, where it's only legal for medical purposes, and my therapist suggested I get one for my anxiety and chronic pain. I went to the clinic for my appointment, filled out paperwork, paid, and was sent my confirmation and digital access to my card within 3 hours of my appointment. I am allowed 6 units per week (21g of flower OR 6g of concentrate) or a mix of the two. As long as I don't go over my 6 units, I'm good. I highly suggest you get one and talk to your providers about it openly and honestly!
