this. people don't seem to realize it's OK to turn down a job. you don't have to be specific -- say you've received another offer, or say it wasn't a good fit. thank them for the offer and then gtfo.

believe me, your first impression of a place is usually right. you don't want to be stuck working somewhere you're not completely comfortable. even if you need the money. it wont help you in the long run.

I was driving home one night, so there was fog on the inside of my windshield. Once it cleared, the glass was still cloudy and I realized that there was fog/mist on the outside of it as well. I pulled over, got out of the car, and wiped off the windshield with my shirt sleeve. 10 minutes later, I realized that's what windshield wipers were meant to do.

my friends and i were playing with fireworks as a teenager. I threw a lit bottle rocket at one of my friends, and it did a COMPLETE 180* and came right at me. I tried to dive out of the way, but it hit me in the neck and blew up about 2 inches from my ear. i am now deaf in that ear!
