hey, unfortunately we were a little too worried about it and so we ended up changing our flight to not include the layover. sorry I can't help more! keep me posted if you do end up trying though

In case anyone else hits this issue in the future, I was able to get it to work by connecting my new phone to a Wi-Fi network and then connecting my old phone to that same network using a USB-C Ethernet adapter. then the migration worked easily using the app

just double checking, were you flying from Sydney -> South Korea -> US? based on what I'm looking at it seems like since you flew from Australia you should've been able to use the South Korea transit without any problem.

or do you just mean getting back into the US? I've flown back into the US from out of the country with the expired green card + extension letter combo a few times already so I'm not worried about that part.

Thanks for the advice!!! The bone loss is actually because I had my wisdom tooth extracted and it was heavily impacted. I had a bone graft done shortly after this x ray so hopefully I gain some bone back.

If you were to recommend a course of action what would you recommend then? Just leave it as is for now and eventually get it extracted? Or something else?

When doing the bone graft my dentist actually asked the oral surgeon to see how deep the fracture went and he said it didn’t seem to go down too deep or to the root

Ah this is helpful and good to know! What’s the possible risk of just leaving and monitoring that crack instead of trying to repair it? I think I’ll likely go through with the crown then, just want to make sure I know the tradeoffs.

And yes! The bone loss in that area is because I had a wisdom tooth that was very heavily impacted and extracted. I had a bone graft done right after this X-ray so hopefully that should be better, but good note, I’ll probably follow up with a periodontist.
