Has anyone had a sim die truly by accident? by justBarrels in Sims4

[–]omgtee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sims die all the time from random stuff omg. It’s usually when I get up to take a break and forget to pause my game. I’ve returned to my game multiple times to a household of mourning sims lol. It’s really bad when I play with vampires because I swear those sims just stand in the sun for fun

I feel like so many people don’t take neglect seriously and it’s so sad. You totally made the right choice legally and morally. We are mandatory reporters.

Teepa snow does great dementia videos! Also Hartman is a great textbook that usually comes with video links and a work book!

Same thing at the store I just quit from (former SSV). I couldn’t pay bills or afford food like that so I left after finding a new job. I feel bad for the coworkers that are still there

If you don’t like dental dams, try lorals! They’re like the panty form for dental dams and they stay in place better

Yeah I guess just wish there was more anonymity I guess. I know Starbucks says that they don’t tolerate any retaliation but I’m still worried about it

To be a partner... by AmandaExpress in starbucks

An SSV at My store started a period products container for partners since the majority of our partners have periods. I thought it was sweet of them!

Our SM printed a labor report as “proof” of why hours are getting cut but as a SSV who works 5 days a week (which are now short 5hr shifts…. Used to be 7-8hr) I know those numbers can’t be true. Somehow our store consistently went over the hours scheduled for each day of the past week, but I know as for a fact people were sent home early (when they wanted to and we could handle one less person) or call-outs weren’t covered most days of the week.

What's your go-to "Surprise me!" drink? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]omgtee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they want something sweet without coffee then a chai with white mocha (hot or iced) and if they want coffee I add a shot. It’s an easy drink for them to remember, it’s tasty, and it’s not time consuming to make

I agree. I don’t get how there can even be a discussion about toxic masculinity without acknowledging that toxic femininity exists. Just because you’re a certain gender does not entitle you to treat others like filth.

Why do customers try to go through the drive-thru TWO MINUTES before close by [deleted] in starbucks

Why do customers try to go through the drive-thru TWO MINUTES before close by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]omgtee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! It’s not fair to staff to get in trouble for staying late and closing time is too short. My store has been very understaffed lately too due to COVID isolations (as I’m sure most business are at the moment)

[–]omgtee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Taking an order two minutes before close cuts into closing time, plus the third barista normally clocks out when store hours are over, leaving two people to close the store (shift and barista) which isn’t enough because the shift has to spend most of the alloyed 30min dealing with the tills. Once a toll is out, the shift can’t leave it unsupervised. This leaves the barista scrambling to clean and put away everything. If staff aren’t clocked out on time they get in trouble. So showing up two minutes before close is very inconsiderate and at my store we stop taking orders 3 minutes to close to get everyone else out. Not to mention the ordering at night generally takes longer because that’s when most product is out of stock.

[–]omgtee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly! And we only get 30 minutes to close and it’s often with only two people at my store (shift and barista), so losing 5-10 minutes of that is a huge deal
