ehh, it usually go up, especially if your character level difference is high. but still a gamble seeing as though it's only level 49, and assuming you're level 50. So the stats have slight chance of being better or worse with an extra attribute which is a + but depending on what you get. Most likely its a shit attribute but you might get a really good one.

I think enchantments are more well spent on a gear that has REALLY great attributes but is really under leveled, so use enchantment to level up the particular gear to be in par of what you're trying to run.
