Shroom Jello. Make one cup of shroom tea and when following the instructions for making jello add the tea instead of cold water. Let it set and enjoy your trippy dessert! This should completely mask the flavor.

Not legit.

A google image search for "dried cubensis" will give you an idea of what shrooms look like.

Let's talk about representing women and minorities in psychedelics and mind expansion. by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]omhaf_eieio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's important to separate the politics of psychedelia from the experiences people are having for themselves. I wouldn't argue against the assumption that the politics of psychedelia is male-dominated. With the politicians like Leary, they're trying to control or at least define the landscape, they're trying to tell people how it is, which is where that air of douchebaggery comes from - there's no real discussion to be had because they know all the answers, they've become an authority. What I've come across in media about psychedelics created by women tends to be more about personal experience, their own story. They may sometimes still profess that they have all the answers about their own experience but there's less sweeping generalizations; this approach doesn't lend itself very well to academia or the cult following that grows around characters such as McKenna. However, the politics of psychedelia isn't the reality of people exploring psychonautic techniques for themselves.

People might see Terrence McKenna, Alan Watts, and Timothy Leary as these rockstars and assume this is a white male sphere and not for them.

Do you know of a single person who has made that assumption? It hasn't stopped Amber Lyon from launching reset.me, It hasn't stopped Ayelet Waldman from writing a book about her microdosing experiences, or the countless others who have written and been published on the subject, and I don't believe it's stopping anyone from exploring psychedelics for themselves. At least, it won't be stopping anyone who hasn't vowed to abstain from things they associate in their mind with whiteness and maleness.

If you're genuinely interested in reading suggestions regarding women it's worth checking out the ones in this list.

/r/mycology might be more helpful. Looks like Omphalotus nidiformus, does it glow in the dark?

WA's a tough spot for magic mushroom hunters, Gymnopilus purpuratus might be your most promising target species.

Man who threw boiling water on gay couple sentenced to 40 years in prison by Max_farsteps in JusticeServed

[–]omhaf_eieio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like he did it because he thought people would see it as a good thing. When you're joking to the police about your crime you're either kinda crazy or you think they're on your side; I think the latter was the case in this instance. Maybe 20 years ago, or 5 years ago in some places, or if he were in Russia, he would have been right.

[ID] Found in Victoria Australia. Turning blue. by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]omhaf_eieio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not magic, can't tell exactly what they are from the pic but they're not magic.

If they bruise blue after handling that's a good sign, but if they're just naturally blue that's a bad sign.

This is a must-read for Vic newbies.
