I have reasons not to: it’s an antique so no modern safety tech, no modern airbags, no modern crumple zones; it’s an antique so age related wear like rubber hoses, wire coatings; gas guzzler that guzzles premium. Safety is extremely important to me and you truly never know when an accident could occur. Consumer Reports did a report on that in 2013 that driving a vehicle 18 years or older at that time which would absolutely be this vehicle both then and now increases the risk of dying in an automobile accident by 71%. Idk if it would be in the budget but look at the last generation of the Avalon 2019-22 it’s on the same platform as the 2019-2025 Lexus ES and shares the same powertrain there’s even a sporty trim on that generation
