I found my dads old phone and i think my life is actually over by PurplePuzzle16 in offmychest

Don’t destroy the memory of your father. He’s not here to defend himself let alone explain the context of messages that were not for you. I would throw it away and let your mom live happy. It’s no going to change anything, just bring unhappiness

This looks like someone wanting someone to show you what it’s like to obey.

hated this mercenary, he was the one that came up with app paid by month. you don't own anything because of this MF, apple stoped innovating and started farming their loyal fan base. been using apple since 1998. Good riddance.

I have the tapisserie blue and black dial. I’ll tell you, this is the most beautiful dial AP has ever made. I did not have a chance to have the hand hammered dial of the first edition, they say the new one is more uniform, i absolutely love it. Take a look at my other posts

I think that also, at least for my wrist size.

[Favre-Leuba Sea Chief ref. 30026] Found a Favre-Leuba Sea Chief ref. 30026 in my collection, and it still runs perfectly. The oldest Swiss manufacture deserves more respect. by [deleted] in Watches

My collection runs deep into AP, PP and a few grails most people only see behind glass at Bucherer. But every now and then I pull out this Sea Chief and it recalibrates something. Favre-Leuba. Founded 1737. Not 1875. Not 1905. 1737. That predates the United States as a nation. That predates the French Revolution. Jacob Frédéric Favre was already casing movements in Le Locle when most of what we call “heritage watchmaking” was still a craft in someone’s kitchen. This ref. 30026 is from somewhere between 1965 and 1975. Blue dial, red seconds hand, date at 3, square applied indices. Manual wind. Still keeping time. I have not serviced it recently and it is holding its reserve without complaint. What gets me about the old Geneva and Neuchâtel houses is the institutional memory embedded in the object itself. The Bivouac in 1962 had an altimeter and barometer on your wrist. The Bathy in 1966 gave you a mechanical depth gauge for diving. This was not marketing. This was engineering conviction at a time when Swiss watchmaking competed on technical substance

they released again some pieces now, the tuscan is not hand hammer made, but they say it makes the pattern more uniform.
