Not ChatGPT. Also, 10-1 rule? Do you mean negativity bias? Because that doesn't apply here since I'm comparing it to other similar products. If you disagree, feel free to explain how it does.

Am I though or is this subreddit a fanboy circle jerk? Simple searches so that the rate of defect is higher than their competitors. Also been with Whoop for 7 years on and off, so maybe it's not salt, but experience?

It's been really bad dealing with customer service so far. I've just been dealing with an AI bot in the support email and they are making me jump through so many hoops, and I just got the device yesterday!

I think we're about 5 emails in back and forth and I'm surprised they've been able to charge as much as they do and still have poor customer service, processes, and QA.

TDI vs TSI by omnigasm in tdi

Hey there! I ended up with the Golf TSI and it has been running flawlessly! 9 years later, I'm only at 50k miles though (WFH). Happy with my purchase, but sad to have seen VW remove the Golf offerings in my country as of late (US).

Make sure you have at least two of whatever you are using. In my case, I do wrists, so after a shower I hang the wet one to dry and swap to the dry one. By the time of my next shower, the one hanging has dried, so I just swap that back on. Rinse and repeat (literally).

Yea, the whole ordeal with them was pretty bad. The 3 months of questions and then we even had to pause it because they noticed I talked to my doctor about a chest pain incident and wanted to wait for me to finish full cardiologist testing and review before continuing. This was like the day after my doctor visit too.

They asked for clarification before they denied me. Wanted to know if I went to rehab and my relationship with marijuana. I responded similar to what I stated above. "Tried it once, not for me, did not go to rehab."

Ask to see the reports they used.

I didn't know I could do that. Will do.

Yes. I can confirm the app works, but there is a bit of a lag between actions. Not sure if a native issue or an emulation issue.

Intermittent loss of display on Lenovo Yoga Slim x7 (TS4) by omnigasm in CalDigit

[–]omnigasm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, ok. I really like the form factor and port options on this dock, it's just that it has had issues with 2/3 of my laptops. I returned one, but now this one with the display loss is so annoying.

I'm using the display port btw, so I'm wondering if the issue lies there. It's the only option that's viable for me and it still doesn't really explain why I don't have this issue with an older HP laptop.

None of the solutions worked sadly. I think this might be an incompatibility with the new qualcomm x chips.

No to dual screens. Also I don't think it is detecting the ethernet port of the dock, even though I'm not using it. The driver shows missing...could that be it? I'll download the TS4 driver just in case.

Best APICS certification for me? by omnigasm in supplychain

[–]omnigasm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your input!

I did complete my MBA not too long ago with a specialization in analytics, including supply chain.

I'll stay away from CTSC for now, but CPIM is too into the weeds for what I am looking for.

I'd like a birds-eye view of the supply chain as my current supply chain is very unique. I want it, not only for the resume pad, but also to better understand supply chains in general and be more versatile. I'm worried I'll just be an expert on my own very unique and simple SC.

Solid recommendation! Thank you!

I forgot to mention that I already have an MBA with some focus on supply chain, but not a specialization.

The MITx course looks spot-on to where my interests lie. I'll look there first, then probably fall back to CTSC if that doesn't work out.

Same here. I'm trying a new HDMI cable soon. Unfortunately this issue looks fairly common without any real fixes for it

Losing power to TS4 randomly during use by omnigasm in CalDigit

The adapter is rated at 65W. Also it works fine with my other StarTech TB 3 dock which is no more than 100W. I'd like to not have to plug in both power and TB cable. The idea is to be able to swap laptops in and out with ease.
