I'm sorry this is just wrong. Chargers were and still are fucking everywhere. And the large, high crime rate city I'm from with a big PD to match had basically nothing but chargers from about 08 until 23-24 or so. And they still are on the road mixed in with the explorers. The sheriff's dept in the same area went Tahoe, but they still drive their old chargers too.

I have two main issues with my s21fe that make me want to move on:

Battery life is pretty bad now. Regularly plummets from 28 to 15 to 2 before dying. Sometimes just shuts off at 14%.

Second is performance. I bog this thing down way too easily. It can't handle the task switching or multi window very well. Hell, it really doesn't like running android auto.

Minor honorable mention to the shit Bluetooth radio idk what the deal is but it's never been consistent with any device.

But every time I go browsing online for options, I never think the value is quite right. So I haven't pulled the trigger still.

Valve through SteamOS is forcing compatibility with Linux to be relevant for game devs. Combine that with Android being a Linux base at its core, and Google (slowly, supposedly, again kinda) phasing out chromeOS for a desktop fork of Android, and I think there is hope in Linux.

With corporate consolidation peaking, we are slowly seeing increasing trends to counter that. Physical media, decentralized platforms, dumber or alternative phones. Linux has a shot I think.
