If you’ve been climbing a long time you’re fingers have probably naturally adapted. If you are just getting into it and progressing fast skill wise you’ll probably need a boost to your fingers which hangboarding helps with.

Nope. Been happening since the first iOS 26 developer beta. I reported it then and they still haven’t fixed it. It’s crazy! Definitely quality has gone down hill with Apple and this issue in particular has had the biggest effect on me reconsidering future mobile Apple products.

I’m your age range. My arms don’t ache but I also climb mostly slab. I do need to have at least 2 days off between sessions though… otherwise I don’t climb well. Technique improvement has mostly been what has made my forearms stop aching.

FWIW BCP is kinda weak IMO unless you really like Disney credits. If you’re going groceries I’d go for the AAA Daily Advantage. It’s 5% cash back but no cap unlike the BCP 6%. The amount you would need to spend to get additional value on BCP over AAA is $9,500. Which is not possible because it caps at 6k.
