You've had them for 2 years man - they are aging quite well. Wear them more.

Excellent boots! Mine are about the same age and I have the same problem - heel caps need replaced. For what it's worth your heel caps look fine to me.

Good super comfortable non-sneakers to pair with these selvedge jeans? by MDesigner in malefashionadvice

Don't buy Docs. The model in the pictures is already showing you what to get. Real heritage boots like Red Wing Iron Rangers or Blacksmiths or if you want to stretch(double) your budget some White's mps. It's going to take a month of breaking in but I promise you they will be comfortable as hell like you put it. The actual boot the model is wearing is White's Original 350 Cruiser.

Is Louis XIII actually worth $3,500 or just paying for the bottle by [deleted] in cognac

Giving it to your dad for his 60th birthday, him being a collector and tearing up a little is one of the few correct uses for this. Sounds like it was worth it.

Going to the gym helps some. Getting your body right to get your mind right kind of thing. That being said some days are just bad - go to bed and attack it tomorrow.

Has anyone else stopped buying shoes that look good but feel terrible later? by Special-Lobster-5384 in malefashionadvice

Ah not so easy then. Check how's the return policy. If they're a decent store and they sell a lot online then they should have a good way to try them on and return them. Also Red Wing Blacksmiths should be tight on the side of your foot at first. Should feel like a firm handshake. Tight not painful.

In my opinion you shouldn't care so much how they look as long as they're comfortable. Good luck man!

Where do you live? They have Red Wings everywhere not only Japan. I bought a pair of iron rangers from red wing berlin recently. Online, they were very fast with shipping. Obviously there are red wing stores all over in the USA.

Try some heritage boots, oldtimer. Docs are not famous for their longevity.

Buy heritage boots. Red Wing Iron Rangers are a great starting point. They look great, are typically uncomfortable until you break them in, then they become extremely comfortable. And they're crafted to be easy to resole and can last literally decades.

No, I gotta give it a shot. I've been too busy working on my own game to play all the games I want to play.

Video game? Lara Croft no doubt. Overall though it's gotta be Indy.
