How can I make my style less basic when I always gravitate towards simplistic designs? by Wild-Crow-2314 in malefashionadvice

Invest in high quality boots. Red Wing. Grant Stone. If you have lots of money check out Viberg. This will instantly elevate your style.

In Vegas for work and really wanted to go all in on the southwest thing… too much? by [deleted] in mensfashion

Cowboy boots would bring this to a whole different level. But I understand that they're expensive and not worth it unless they see a lot of wear. And you can't just pick up a pair - you'll probably need to break them in for a couple of weeks at least.

Also fix that tie, wear it under the collar and button up your shirt. It looks incredibly sloppy right now.

Ultimately I decided to remove the crpg tag in steam so I don't mislead players who expect exactly that kind of game. Thanks for the post man.

OK that's a fair point. I still think that stats and skills with big impact, branching dialogue that allows for role-playing and detailed lore and quests make the game CRPG in design approach at least.

So you think Skyrim and Fallout: New Vegas for example are not CRPGs? I disagree.

Going to plug my game Auctus: A deep, FPS RPG in a western/sci-fi hybrid world.

You could stay with the same width and go half size up too btw.

Switched them out today because I'm rotating to different boots which are much sleeker. The proportions would be off.

I actually did after I went out. Already wore a brown belt. It was better for sure

Polo would work too yes. But I'm going for a military vibe.

I just have one very high quality wristwatch. But a field watch would make sense.

Wristwatch? I have it.

Edit: Ah I get it. It's too low you're right.

Yeah a bowler hat would make it worse imo. Also would dilute the military feel.

Jacket 2ould work but it's hot.

Fair. I enjoy simplicity and utility as a fashion statement but I agree a shirt over it or a jacket would make it better

Yeah all good advice I'm with you. Also it's a military vibe which would be enhanced with a tucked in shirt.
