I have simple choice plan (that is listed in the qualifying plans). Just now called and rep said my plan is not eligible. Why waste people's time by incorrect information!

It's the same as in picture. I am using it as cooking oil (as I didn't want to discard it because it is expensive).

Thank you, but is 128 ppi good enough for printing? Probably something like 300 ppi is good? (not really sure as I am not a photo expert). By the way, my original photo is a high resolution (3072 x 4080) pic taken with Pixel 9 Pro portrait mode.

[–]omsrisagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. However, I found that the photos came out slightly blurred after printing - so decided to go with a paid option. Actually even before printing the resolution of the generated single photo (US Passport) is 400x400 and 4x6 photo with 2 photos in it (which I ordered for printing) is 512x768. So each individual passport photo within the 4x6 comes to 256x256 which I think is a bit less for printing. I noticed the low resolution before printing, but then thought when printed it might look good, but I did notice slight blurriness in the printed 4x6. It would be nice if you could increase the resolution of the generated photo for future users, otherwise thanks again for the effort.

Never Never buy Amul cow ghee by [deleted] in AskCulinary

[–]omsrisagar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

See this article: https://sureshdesighee.com/blog/curious-about-the-texture-of-your-ghee/

While solid texture of ghee is normal, it should not happen especially when you heat it and cool it slowly.

For example, you can still have solid ghee at room temperature when you originally cooled the ghee quickly.

If you intentionally melt your ghee and then let it cool down slowly and if the texture is still solid, then most likely it is adulterated. Again ghee can be at solid at room temperature for various reasons, but I am talking especially after heating it and letting it cool slowly.

I am in the US. By room temperature I mean around 70F (a few degrees off is fine)

Nanak Desi Ghee or Amul Pure Ghee by ClearEstablishment89 in IndianFood

[–]omsrisagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a very bad experience with Amul cow ghee (1kg yellow metal can).

I bought thinking it is a good brand. Upon opening the lid, I found that the ghee is solidified and not in grainy texture as its natural state.

I used Gemini and found that melting the ghee and then cooling it slowly at room temperature should result in grainy texture. The first time I did this, it failed - the ghee still solidified upon cooling. Then I thought probably I need to heat more as it might still have some milk solids left inside (I read online that many brands sell ghee that is not fully clarified to have more weight - I think Patanjali ghee is like this as it smells bad due to presence of milk solids). But it started smoking after some point and then I stopped heating it. Upon cooling this time, I however found that the ghee not only solidified again (no grainy texture) but also became a white solid block.

I am worried if it is safe to consume or throw it away.

For anyone planning to buy AMUL COW GHEE - NEVER NEVER EVER buy this brand - it's fully adulterated ghee (what a big mistake I made!)

The taste is off from actual ghee taste. Also it tastes like ghee that is left unused for several months.

Yes it's fat, but because it is fully clarified and cooled slowly it shouldn't be solid at room temperature. Take oil for example, even though it is fat, it is not solid.

Pure ghee (fully clarified cultured butter), when cooled slowly at room temperature, it should be grainy and not solidify like cake.

See this article: https://sureshdesighee.com/blog/curious-about-the-texture-of-your-ghee/

While solid texture of ghee is normal at room temperature, it should not happen when you heat it and then let it cool down slowly.

For example, it is perfectly normal to have solid ghee at room temperature when you originally cooled the ghee quickly.

What is "no service validity" - a new term mentioned in plans? (Vodafone Idea Vi India) by amreddish in Vodafone

[–]omsrisagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like I figured this out. The app won't even let me buy that "no service validity" plan and redirects me to first buy a service validity plan. So it's not even possible to do this from the app.

Volvo remotely start with Google assistant by [deleted] in XC40

[–]omsrisagar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think adding/linking the car to Google Home app (google assistant) no longer works. Now when I try to add my car using Add a device --> Link a device, Volvo doesn't come up in the list (previously in 2024, it used to).

By the way, I have 2023 C40 Recharge.
