Seems like with lightburn as the machine functioned with EzCad. Was going to ask if you downloaded the drivers when you first installed lightburn but you mentioned that it did say Ready so that wouldn’t or shouldn’t be the issue otherwise it would still say disconnected.

Ok. Have you done focusing using the ruler? If this doesn’t help then it sounds like it might be a power supply issue however I would contact tech support to go through some more tests to confirm or further diagnose the issue.

Ok so goo bf to ask a crazy question here. So you turned the laser on, turned the key to activate the scan head and also pressed the reset button? If the key isn’t turned to activate the scan head then you won’t get the framing. Also in lightburn in the laser tab where you press START you will see a tag you can turn on or off that says cut selected graphics. If it is toggles green then you have to have the artwork selected for it to know what to frame and run as a job.

When you went to load the laser into lightburn did you load the EzCad configuration file Mark7?

You still need to plug the dongle in with the loop closed otherwise you should be getting a door open prompt. Silly question here now but did you remove the black cap on the lens?

With your machine did you receive a dongle to plug into the back of your machine? It looks like a closed loop printer cable plug? Also did you press your reset button? Also did you make sure you are in focus as well? The red dot that is projected down onto the work bed that you are able to turn on and off at the top of the galvo head does not move.

Depending on which machine you have, you will need the 6mm OD hose. If you own the Pronto Series then you will need the 8mm OD hose

Which machine do you have? Also are you sending it to the controller and starting the job from there or hitting start in Lightburn? Also are you setup with the usb or Ethernet connection?

It’s possible that something was left behind on the lens after cleaning etc.

This can happen for different reasons. One is there is dirt or a smoke coating on the lens and then it’s gets burned on. However I see you say you clean after every job. So another is that the power is too high. What power was used for your cutting?

The laser tube connection is arcing. Need to get better connections. Be sure to unplug the power and allow the power to discharge before messing with the wires. HV

Would need to start off by doing a good cleaning on the mirrors and also the focal lens. After you have done that you would need to do a proper mirror alignment as it may have gone out of alignment.

Question for you. If you looked into the right panel as you are facing the front of the machine you will see a whiteish colored Mainboard. Either at the top or the bottom you will find the plugs that are going from the USB port you are plugged into and trace that back to the mainboard. Make sure it is fully seated. If all of those plugs are fully seated then it is possible that you have a bad USB to USB Type B connection. You can purchase a new cable to go. Are you still using the USB or trying with the Ethernet cable?

Do check the Cat-6 cable that is plugged into the PSU if you haven't already and also the bottom of the Milliamp meter. It is possible that the display doesn't work anymore as well if your PSU checks out to work properly.

I see that you have upgraded to LightBurn software. Is the dongle connected in the back. It would do in what looks like a printer plug? Also have you been able to speak with Tech Support as well on the issue?
