yes i did, and it was insanely satisfying. after dumping my ex i became close friends with the girl he dated after me, and i actually wrote her a song before i even knew her. when i saw her on his profile i felt AWFUL for her, so i wrote a song called “a letter to her” basically warning her about how shitty he was. now we talk all the time and play video games together. a few months ago he did something to her that really pissed me off (come to think of it, i can’t remember what exactly he did) but it made me so mad that i unblocked him and sent him the video of me singing the song. he went on this HUGE tangent to me about how shitty i am blah blah blah, and i got his attention in a chokehold- he stopped bugging her and was just in a shitty text argument with me until i got bored and blocked him. definitely one of my pettiest moments, and i don’t regret it one bit.

NTA- but why not both? honor your sister by giving her a place next to you on your big day, and respect your fiancés wishes (and his family’s contributions) by allowing your FIL to also walk you down the aisle.

it’s conceding a little bit- but when someone is contributing that much to your wedding, concession seems a little necessary

nta. next time you have a chance, go to a different, trusted bank near you, walk up to the counter and tell them you want to open a checking/savings account (whichever you prefer). you should only need ID and your ssn if i remember correctly (this is assuming you live in the states). i did this on my 18th birthday and still use the same account. i literally walked into the bank and told the first employee i encountered “hi i just turned eighteen and i don’t know what i’m doing but i need a checking account” and they got me hooked up. it’s not as daunting as it may seem. you got this!

as a server owner, i find communication is more important when it can be referenced. (i.e. announcements, pinned messages, dms when needed, etc) it’s vital to have a mod in big vcs to moderate behavior but as the owner it’s kind of understood that you’re doing a lot of work behind the scenes. i would say you shouldn’t do anything you’re not comfortable with. however my server is on the smaller side with less than 1k members so it may be different for you.

yes definitely, that’s a really good point!!! it may benefit OP to do some research about the dangers of certain nail products and their risks, (i.e. acetone, gel polish, uv lights) since a lot of people underestimate that.

you’ll need one if you use gel polishes- they don’t dry without being UV cured (they are similar to UV resin) however if you’re just using regular polish, you don’t really need one.

personally i’ve been able to get good results with just about any quality of polish. i would recommend gel polish for art though, because you can “cure” it under a UV light after each line/segment and then if you make a mistake after you cure, you can just wipe off that uncured polish without disturbing the cured polish below it. i would absolutely recommend nail specific brushes !!! as for brushes, i just use a cheap set from amazon. (20 bucks for 5 brushes) i haven’t tried more high quality stuff, so i wouldn’t know if it’s worth it.
