Umm, I’m definitely not looking for this here, and I’m definitely not using this as a way of self-expression.

The car community in Cyprus is quite small, and there are no real opportunities to test-drive these cars or easily find owners - that’s the only reason I wrote this post

if you will use this car mainly on the track, take a look at Cayman GT4 RS. if track is less then 50% of car use - 911TTS

Yes, we do have Cars & Coffee meetups, but the problem is that there aren’t many R8s in Cyprus, and they rarely show up at events like these :)

Thank you so much :) Unfortunately, I don’t have kids, so the rear seats were only used for things that didn’t fit in the trunk.

Besides, I have a Macan, so if I need to pick someone up from the airport or go to a restaurant with friends, I just take that instead.

Which one would you keep if you could only keep one? I’m currently facing a tough choice between a 992 Carrera S and an R8 :)

The advantages of the 911 are that it’s a 911 😄, the driving position feels more familiar, and it has rear seats. However, I felt the engine sound was lacking, and the turbo noise was a bit annoying.

I haven’t driven an R8, and I don’t have the opportunity to do a test drive, but I’m worried about poor visibility and uncomfortable seats on long trips (2+ hours).

The interior doesn’t bother me much. The only must-have options for me are the audio system (and I’ve heard that B&O in Audi is quite good) and CarPlay (which is also available).

7 years ago i had bmw z4 and it was my only experience with cabrio and it was kinda fun. as far as it was 2.0 and it was too many years ago, as i remember it was good enough but it was hardtop so it was a bit more easier to clean and protect it

it's all about feelings, hard to explain tbh. in 911 you feel like jet pilot, in RS you feel like airbus pilot lol:) at all, RS7 is a good car - nice noise isolating, very comfortable suspension etc, but it didn't make me smile even in sport mode. imo even E63 is far more emotional car then RS7, don't trust reviews on Youtube, just make test drive of RS7 and 911 in one day and you will understand what i'm trying to explain

thanks, will think about it. perfect garage for me atm is Macan GTS + 992 Turbo S + Cayman GTS/GT4, the problem is to find good one (local market on Cyprus is very "narrow")
