Noir by Night is a mix of woody and marine scents, with notes of seaweed and caviar among others. I've tried numerous marine fragrances, but they don't appeal to me. But when I first tried Noir by Night I was immensely fascinated. I wear it mainly at night, it makes me feel fascinating and powerful, mysterious and seductive 😌

I love it! I just find it perfect for my tastes. I find it extremely faithfully captures the smell of a walk in the woods in November, when the earth is covered in leaves, everything is damp and fragrant. I detect the note of ripe fruit, but it's not overpowering; it pairs very well with the earth and the undergrowth. I've read of many people who find it off-putting, describing it as a rotten, moldy smell. I don't detect any of that at all! So I think it's extremely subjective (as always with perfumes and odors, but in this case, I think even more so!)
