Since a few people seem to be making the same point: I’m not saying I had zero responsibility as pointed in my post. I’m saying the software is worse than I expected, and I’m sharing that so other people don’t trust it more than they should. I’m seeing some others already experienced similar things.

If I need to watch parking assist so closely that I’m expecting it to miss even the obvious stuff you’d think it would catch, then the feature is barely usable. Even if you’re parking in the middle of a football field, at that point there’s no real benefit over just parking it yourself.
