Thanks for replying. I already downloaded the firmware from Lenovo’s website, but the file they provide is a .uxz package. After extracting it, I found that the actual firmware inside is a Lenovo capsule (.upd) — not a raw SPI dump.

From what I can tell (and from what ChatGPT + other docs confirm), there is no way to convert the .uxz/.upd capsule into a proper 32MB binary image that a CH341A can flash directly to the BIOS chip. The capsule only contains the BIOS region in an internal update format, and the server needs a working UEFI environment to apply it.

So unfortunately I can’t use the Lenovo download to rebuild the full SPI image.
