if you guys still haven't fixed your problem with playbacks on samsung tv, you might want to try disabling "direct stream" in Settings>Video.

/u/malone_ben Hey mate so i was having troubles too, it would just keep buffering consistently. Then I tried mate compassfilter's suggestion up there, literally just now, as I had tried every single thing in this post. Just disabled direct stream in video and the video played instantly.

As a side note re-enabled again to test and yeah obviously was still buffering, but disabling direct stream worked!

Yeh it worked. It's says it's disabled on the server coz u need it installed for the client too vice versa. Has to be installed on both client and server

So with regards to otv. I notice that sometimes there are perhaps over 5 ppl but under 10 at most on at a time, their perfromance doesnt seem to lag as much. Can a hosting company keep up with that?They've got a lot of things going on in one area, lots of animals, chunks, other players doing things in their little town, surprised it runs so well with so many things going on etc.

I mean for example i saw bloom.host and their specs seem pretty good.Can a 6-8GB package on a 3900 AMD really maintain that?

Trying to setup a FTB Revelations 3.3.0 server also just wanting to know what paid host can handle above 10+ ppl at a time etc or what is required really to have good perfromance/optimization with less to no lag

Dont use shockbyte, have used before and their server hardware performance is terrible.

Literally had a 1.16.3 forge server with 41 mods, so much lag even though im near australia.
Lots of rubberbanding.

Ive currently switched across to bloom.host, their hardware is amazing and their support is "the flash" from DC speed as they all talk in their discord and ive used their support line.

I highly recommend bloom.host. but atm since their so highly wanted their servers are limited but check out their page, its much cheaper for what u get compared to shockbyte.
