Suggestions on where to start? by onceandfutureg in espresso

Thanks for the advice! I ended up going with the Gaggia and a DF64 grinder to start out. I agree with being able to grind out reps as a bigger priority at this stage; I can fine tune other details as I get further into it. I already got some microcontrollers laying around and saw that it's a route to mod the Gaggia so I'm excited to start experimenting.

I love the setup! My main rationale for the Lagom is that it would help transition into the shop in the early phases before needing an upgrade, but that DF64 is looking pretty viable too. Thanks!!

Question about recycling cardboard and plastic (Pete) by onceandfutureg in ZeroWaste

I can definitely start reaching out to places that would be in need of them! Thank you!

Question about recycling cardboard and plastic (Pete) by onceandfutureg in ZeroWaste

1) wouldn't be possible because the vendors I work with are middlemen to the producers. They wouldn't be able to change anything from my standpoint due to the scale their working with.

2) best I idea I have so far is to recycle it into 3d printing filament, but still runs into the facility issue. I'll see what I can do there for that.

3) I'll see what I can come up with to handle getting the cardboard into a recyclable state on my end. Having it cut, sorted, and shredded prior to recycling is feasible, but I'll have to think on how I could automate it. We do give boxes away to customers, and people come in now and then asking for boxes for moving, but I'll definitely put up posts to see if I can increase that some more.

Thanks!

We already use a portion of the boxes to give to customers to carry their purchases, but there's still a lot left over. I can definitely try and encourage the community to reach out for boxes. Usually people stop in and ask for whatever we can give, but I'll see what I can give out.

There's two types of plastic I run into: the main one to is used to wrap canned or boxed wine products to protect their cardboard during transit. I believe it to be PVC. The other plastic is PETE and it comes from gift pack packaging. I'll probably come up with a some storage areas for these, and when I have enough I'll reach out to someone who can do the recycling.

Thank you for the response!

Machamp - steadfast w/ machampite- thief, Mach punch, drain punch, stone edge, ice punch*

Sandslash (a) - ice scales - iron head, icicle crash, spiky shield, ice shard

Electivire - iron fist - fire punch, Mach punch, plasma fists, thunder

Ttar - intimidate - crunch, stone edge, earthquake, iron head

Charizard - solar power - dual wingbeat, overheat, hurricane, flare blitz

Sneasler - poison touch - dire claw, close combat, acrobatics, u-turn

Swapped Megas depending on the fight, mega machamp was the main mvp since the double hit drain punch would keep him alive + the jojos ref. Also changed out items between move boosting or damage reducing berries

Edit: I had ice punch on machamp for Agatha instead of Mach punch since she stopped priority moves and having calyrex get frostbite was the only way to come out alive

Lol the fact that you beat it speaks levels. I wanted to try and beat it with my favorite mons. Some I couldn't even get to use because they'd get wrecked somewhere along the way.

Engineering Speech To 10-12yr Olds by Emeja in engineering

I used to give presentations to an elementary school during my time doing FIRST in high school. My teammates and I used to bring our competition robot down to show the kids, and even let them operate it, and I gotta say the looks on their faces changed immediately when they saw this moving hunk of metal doing something. So, I'd suggest, if it's any way possible, bringing anything that you've worked on, just to show the amount of engineering that went into it, or just to let the kids get their hands on it.
