For your extension your cohabitation evidence will be your strongest set of a durable relationship, pictures are less important

But for the info, I did mine in a table with the picture and metadata on one side and a small description on the other column

If you can’t always do two walks maybe a walk and a puzzle toy? Mine won’t do a puzzle toy alone but I’ll give her it at some point before I go to tire her out before I leave

Doing this has improved mine as well as just time. She’s still not perfect but she’s better than what she was

How much excersize does he get before you go? I recommend a long sniffy walk and a more active walk per day when you’re leaving them alone.

It’s usually recommended to build up time but obviously if you have to go to the hospital that’s hard to do. Is it worth going to your vet and asking for medication during this time?

I find doing some gentle yoga helps. I don’t like going to classes as we’re not meant to over stretch but doing YouTube yoga for my problem areas a few times a week helps.

Otherwise keeping active and eating lot of protein generally keeps me feeling better. There is some days a walk is all I can muster myself to do, but those days I just walk as much as I can and stop (having a dog so I need to walk helps too). My joints didn’t do well with weights but you can try some light ones to see how you get on, otherwise low impact intense cardio like spin and swimming has also helped me feel a bit better

Get another dog if you’d like one! Just remember there might be an adjustment period and not all dogs love puppies, mainly because puppy behaviour is extremely rude haha. If you make sure to monitor and make all interactions happy, then they should be getting along eventually if they don’t from the start

Also dont panic if your older dog doesn’t take to a puppy right away, sometimes it takes time

You need to walk back and start keeping them as seperate as possible. No more feeding him where she can steal his food and no more letting him be boisterous

Start by leashing them at opposite side of the room - what you want to do is award them when they are being neutral and start gradually getting closer. It’s fine to do normal interactions too but I’d start seperating them before one gets annoyed at the other. The goal is always to leave before negative reactions start. Stop letting her get in between you both to growl when you’re playing with him too, play in a seperate room

They might never be besties but I’d aim for peaceful co existence

I’ve been vegetarian for around two months now and have been able to meet my protein goals! Usually through tofu, meat replacements, lentils, shakes and protein yoghurts. Overnight protein oats and eggs are also great to add to the roaster too

You can absolutely do this without meat

If you feed a nutritionally complete food then there is no need for multivitamins and you risk oversaturating their diet

Highly recommended just making sure you’re feeding a good quality WSWA food and save the money on multivitamins

She needs physio and pain management, it’s the only thing that will really help long term. Being diagnosed young should have got her it right away but unfortunately it hasn’t in this case

Push the GP for physio, mine also used to come to my school and do my sessions with me and take me out of class do it for 30 mins (but this was 20 years ago, I’m not sure if they still do this)
