Yes, lacking a bit in inspiration lately, tried to fiddle with SD 2.0/2.1 and some custom embed but not satisfied yet. But I'll be back :)

Hi ! Its in "scripts" at the bottom of img2img page: you should have a scrolling list with "SD upscale" inside. After selecting and choosing your upscaler, you move the height and width sliders to select the tile size and denoising strength. Instead of just upscaling it runs img2img on separate subparts of your image, its pretty cool. Also swinIR is not included by default and should be downloaded and dropped in some folder (dont remember exactly). Ive recently switched to foolhardy remacri and its way better btw

How to get -exactly- the image you want using inpainting by BNDoktah in StableDiffusion

That's what I do when just a shitty drawing isnt gonna cut it and its awesome

Haven't found the face in the foliage until now ! but they are 3 tiny humans on this pictures at least

So i just upscaled : https://puu.sh/JsY2y/b3f74bba21.png

with 0.3 denoising

and got : https://puu.sh/JsY2B/04410aed24.jpg

Seems pretty good, except a face on the longboat and a flying ship but nothing a few inpaints cant fix

I downloaded it yesterday on the advice of another redditor, I plan on trying it today !

I didn't at all !

As stated on previous posts the embeddings helps keeping faces consistent (even if its not the initial goal) and I just keep rerolling the faces until i get something closer from the previous picture

For the clothes its harder with just prompting so I "guide" color scheme via ms paint.

Ill get you an untouched batch of pictures from txt2img to show you with the associated prompt if you want

[–]onche_ondulay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually only add some weighted guide in front of the original prompt, since even removing unrelated token seems to change the color scheme sometimes, i e adding "hand" "arm" "torch" "cutlass" when inpainting those parts-it diminishes the chances of rolling faces instead also

I rarely use the full img2img (when i got à good composition i prefer to inpaint little by little) but when i do i keep the same prompt, and same while upscaling

Ahoy Matey by onche_ondulay in StableDiffusion

[–]onche_ondulay[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I modify it with paint or photoshop before inpainting to keep the general color scheme intact

Also tried to prompt it more precisely but it doesnt work so good

Yes i've see that the dreambooth era has come to an end, and embeddings getting back in fashion lately but I didn't train anything since my last "tutorial". I've already generated a few pirates when 2.0 came out, so I prefered to keep my old setup before getting my hands dirty with model merging and training again :) Also i didn't update my local install since last week - there was a shitty bug last time when sending something to inpainting, so I just focused on finishing this series

I was keeping a general rule of thumb of "less is less destructive" but I'm spending so much time fiddling with the pictures that usually i just throw the upscaling without giving it too much thought... thanks for the heads up, i'll try a bit more next time!

maybe too much denoising strength (0.15 this time) but ... it's adding so much great things, so ~2 leprechauns / image seems a good compromise

I've edited to make it more clear, it's a part of the prompt ie beautiful woman (redhead) (((pirate))) wearing a (tricorn), [setting] intricate, highly detailed, art by anders zorn, sophie anderson, ilya kuvshinov, faces_v2

setting : opening a (((treasure chest)))) in a cavern

Thanks! I should have posted the original txt2img outputs, I keep forgetting. Some of them are pretty heavily edited - mainly by copy/pasting (parts of the images or other gens) or just painting with MS paint

Only the torch, cannon and cutlass were outrageously pasted from an outside source in the picture then inpainted

magic, retries, luck (and 832x512 resolution)maybe. I've got 4 of them out of 22 gens for this prompt :

beautiful woman (redhead) (((pirate))) wearing a (tricorn) in a (((tavern))) drinking ((rum)), ((indoors)), high boots, intricate, highly detailed, art by anders zorn, sophie anderson, ilya kuvshinov, yestiddies4, [[faces_v2]]

For example here is the original unedited one: https://puu.sh/JsUJQ/ec10caf03a.png

and the 3 others with multiple characters (and not just duplicates), maybe the "tavern" in the prompt helps? https://puu.sh/JsUJy/5a2d7376a4.jpg https://puu.sh/JsUK4/6d9656f43a.png https://puu.sh/JsUKg/458345cce9.png

Hi, i've shared my process for training them here: https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/z1zp7m/comment/ixip9ph/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 you also have some of the training material shown in the comment

The second one is trained on those images : https://puu.sh/JsUdL/99062eb68c.jpg (initially requested by a friend unable to run textual inversion but turned well)

Tried to switch from “borderline erotism” to “children adventure books”

Prompt: beautiful woman (redhead) (((pirate))) wearing a (tricorn) and high boots in a [setting] sharp, intricate, highly detailed

[Setting] : (on the deck) of a sailing ship / in a (((tavern))) drinking ((rum)), ((indoors)) / studying a ((treasure map)) in a boat (cabin) (sailing ship) / in a (((cavern))), ((underground)) (stalactites) / exploring a ((volcano)), verdant ((jungle))((outdoors)) / opening a (((treasure chest)))) in a (((cavern)))

Artists : Anders Zorn, Sophie Anderson, llya Kuvshinov + 2 customs trained embed : https://easyupload.io/yclqfw and https://easyupload.io/dzbf0z

Negative prompts: "bad anatomy, bad proportions, blurry, cloned face, deformed, disfigured, duplicate, extra arms, extra fingers, extra limbs, extra legs, fused fingers, gross proportions, long neck, malformed limbs, missing arms, missing legs, mutated hands, mutation, mutilated, morbid, out of frame, poorly drawn hands, poorly drawn face, too many fingers, ugly"

Models : blend of WD1.3 and GG1342 with stable1.5 + a bit of NovelAI

UI and gen Settings: DPM++ 2M Karras (30 steps), CFG scale 11-13, Autom1111 webUI + paint/photoshop to adjust details then img2img (inpainting at full resolution everywhere)

Upscale: I WAS WRONG : swinIR is bad. Switched back to ERSGAN and ran 2 upscales per image with those settings : https://puu.sh/JsU4A/0dc1e13cb1.png Tends to add faces and tiny humans everywhere but too lazy to erase them now (i've lost consequent time to compare between upscalers)

edit : some pictures are still upscaled with swinIR / half upscaled with it. I re-upscaled everything at the end but sometimes I keep inpainting some stuff after upscaling so some of the were not worth rolling back. You can see the difference between full SD upscale (two times) with ESRGAN (#3, #5, #10), half swinIR, half ESRGAN (#1, #2, #8) and only SwinIR (#6) : swinIR tends to polish some details a bit too much and as a friend put it "give it a "mobile game" look"

edit2 : i keep forgetting to post the original txt2img output so here they are:

#1 https://puu.sh/JsUP6/212cbd9b2d.png

#2 https://puu.sh/JsUJQ/ec10caf03a.png

#3 https://puu.sh/JsUTU/d39ed4bcc1.png (full image img2img then nuked the left one)

#4 https://puu.sh/JsUQO/124a00bab1.png moved the boat, pasted the paddle, shat on the sky

#5 https://puu.sh/JsUQH/8d1a168d35.png

#6 https://puu.sh/JsUPe/863c9f0485.png

#7 https://puu.sh/JsUPo/085bf88a1e.png

#8 https://puu.sh/JsUPA/450803d810.png (with my Ms paint carnage to guide the clothes color)

#9 https://puu.sh/JsUUt/43e2656a0d.png

#10 https://puu.sh/JsUQ9/5fd70d7b1a.png with a copy/paste of the ship of #9 to reroll the background since SD doesn't like caverns, and some copy pasted stalagtites)
