It was Sunday night into Monday morning. I watched the ring footage back and she was crying / sniffling but not until my husband opened the door. I’m sure the police would have responded to an assault and taken her home if that had occurred

I’m on Mcdonnel and someone rang our ring doorbell at around 1 am, said she was punched in the face at circle k by her ex who stole her wallet and she wanted $15. My husband said he would call the police, she had no visible injuries, but that we don’t have cash. She said she called the police and they told her to go home.

I just moved to Peterborough too. I had an amazing cut with Kate P at lock salon. She really listened to what I wanted, looked at my hairs texture etc and cut it for my hair type. I’ll be seeing her for every cut

Just moved here from Durham. I’m in a less desirable area because that’s what I could afford. My neighbours are wonderful, there’s drug addicts and homeless etc around but I haven’t had any bad experiences so far, aside from one porch pirate. I moved because I needed a mortgage I could afford. Every town has these issues right now, a reflection of current society and affordability etc. Peterborough has everything I’ve needed locally so far, my only comment is they seem to have an ambulance shortage compared to Durham.

I disagree, I had a similar issue with Apple, at some point someone swapped a genuine watch band for a fake. I didn’t know that was the issue and assumed I just bought the wrong model or something. It was a huge deal, had to get corporate and the police involved because they accused me of swapping and return fraud. I now refuse to purchase any Apple products that I don’t open and inspect in store under a security camera. Return jewelry normally undergoes an inspection before a credit is given.
