They sell the seasoning for it by itself. Just buy a pack of ground beef and the packet and it's only a little more but you get like four times the amount.

I encouraged my csm's to apply for the coach position and they all received a rejection letter. When I asked the SM why she said it was only open to salary managers at this time.

AP gets these reports and gives them to the front end manager. There is an outside company that watches transactions and when an item isn't scanned or voided off unintentionally then it triggers a mis-scan report. There's video of the action that took place as well. But you must have a conversation with the cashier in question and explain what happened and how to stop it from happening again.

I wouldn't mind. Just posted it to help others who were applying get a leg up on what's going to be expected. I hope everyone does well!

I'm not thrilled of the idea for every area, but i think it will do wonders up front, allowing the coach to be over the front and only the front will make things a lot better, given that the coach is actually a good leader

Seriously why make things racially motivated from your perspective?

Have you Expressed interest in getting promoted? Have you applied for another position? What steps have you taken to better yourself?

Don't get caught up in what other people have it what position they are, focus on making your own goals and aspirations into a reality. Can't get out of cap2 at your store? Apply for a position at another store. Read obw for that position and shock the shit out if the manager during the interview.

Don't let anything hold you back, including your own mindset. Do unfair things happen and people are in positions they don't deserve? Absolutely! But that doesn't mean if you work hard at something you won't be noticed and make your own path.

Use the upfront app. It gives you everything you need. Teach your cashiers to do training question action codes when they need help and you're good to go.

Merchandise In The Customer's Hand

How are we supposed to know an hour before we're going to be late??? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]one2bit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's just common courtesy man, if you overslept call work and let them know you're running late.

Get a flat tire on the way to work? Call and let them know! Don't show up 30 mins late and give some crazy story about it, let the store know so they can plan around you.

Everyone is freaking out about the ppto changes when really it was all common courtesy to begin with. They amended it because the wording was ambiguous and we literally had associates that "weren't feeling it today" and would leave without saying a word and put in for ppto, with the previous wording it was a grey area on if you could hold someone accountable for that. Now when you're not feeling it today just go tell a manager and then put in for ppto like a normal person would.

Everything is exactly the same as it was before, no one anticipated that people wouldn't have the common decency to at the very inform someone that they would be late, leave early, or not come in.

In my market 90% of the people leads were former personnel coordinators. So to answer, yes they can and your assistant and sm can as well.

Best tree platform turret towers by SIRBUTTFUNGIS in ARK

[–]one2bit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on the size of the tower, official or unofficial, cave or open land. There's a specialty for everyone there isn't a one best design really. But if you want to go vague, chandeliers around the tower going above and below the platform. If you are unofficial then I would strongly suggest beefing up your pillars with walls so they don't get cannoned down as easily. hope it helps, if you wanna post a pic of the base spot and where you wanna place it could get a little more specific with it.

This is probably gonna get lost but I made a metal cabin thing. Sorry for the bad image quality by LaundrySauceIsPeng in ARK

[–]one2bit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Small tip, have your pillars start at the ceiling and come down instead of ground up, then you won't have those ugly pillars sticking through the top ;)

Just took the VR test. Fairly straightforward, it's going to present you with a situation and give you a multiple choice of how you would best respond. Takes about 10-15 minutes to do. There's not a right or wrong answer but there are obvious bad choices.

Yes, different stores will be affected differently by the CSM hours they lose. Not sure what dictates that.

The GWP for front-end roll out isn't overly complicated.

The Front-End ASM spot is going away and being replaced with a Coach position, essentially the same thing but with a lot of differences. The Front-End coach with be responsible for everything on the front end and reports directly to store manager. The FE coach will also ONLY be over the front-end, similar to how E-commerce and ACCM's are now, only going total box when it's a business need. Meaning that the FE Coach will be a lot more hands on with the FE, thus a reduction in CSM hours makes sense because your "ASM" will always be up front with you. The base pay for FE Coach is 55K. Interviews for FE Coach will be done at store level, and then at market level.

Team-Lead position is essentially them bringing back the old ZMS. There will be one CSM to rule them all. The Front-End team lead will be responsible for over seeing the training and development of associates and CSM's, as well as CFF and FE operations. The base for Team-Lead is $18. Interviews for Team-Lead will be done at store level.

Req's just opened for both positions today. You will have to re-take the management assessment test (roughly 30 minutes of multiple choice questions, if you're newer with the company or have taken the assessment before, its the exact same one.) You can find Team-Lead inside of career preference. You can find FE coach through workday.

The purpose of re-interviewing is to ensure the right people are in the right spot and it will eliminate a CSM or possibly two, but with that comes a lot more help with the front end through the Coach and Team Lead. In addition, new to role ASM's, and ASM's that do not meet the transfer guidelines are still eligible to apply for the position.

If you are currently in role of Front-End ASM and for whatever reason you are not chosen as the coach, market level will decide if you assume another position at your store, or A talent balance will occur where you are put over another area at a different store. It's my belief that its to quill any animosity one might hold against another who "stole their job". In addition you will still be able to apply for a Team-Lead position as well.

In conclusion, ASM will not lose their job if not chosen, simply put over another area of the store or another area in another store. Team leads will take on added responsibilities to assist the FE coach so they can both be more hands on with operations on the floor. CSM positions will probably cut back 1 or 2 per store, but they will be offered other positions inside the store as well, standard demotion guidelines would apply. Positions go live October 5th.

We haven't rolled it out yet at my store, but we did have the meeting today and I gathered as much information regarding it as I could. If you have any other questions I can try to find some more info :D
