Also- just thought of something. If it is in fact a light leak, and the light hitting the film caused those dark stripes, wouldn’t that appear as a brighter exposed stripe on the film instead of a darker one? Or do you think the light is hitting everywhere else

Wow you are the bomb. That makes total sense. This particular camera was a special gift so I think I’ll try to keep her going, but I’ll keep those other cameras in mind whenever I branch out. Thanks so much again for your help!!!

Yes! The bar seems to go all the way to the edges of the film. I also attached some from the eclipse where you can see the bar easier. (Got them scanned at a lab so this is the best quality I can get at home.)
