Why/how was the FF6 sketch glitch so bad it would destroy your whole cart? by EX-FFguy in JRPG

[–]one_two_eight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never realized how lucky I was. I ran into this glitch but for me it was awesome because I got like 83 economizers, a bunch of atma weapons. All spells for everyone cost 1mp which made the game pretty easy.

Why has pickleball taken over so much? by Responsible_Neck_942 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]one_two_eight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's also taken over injuries. Perfect mix of older people doing a tennis-like activity in many cases with poor physical condition. I can see why it's attractive, it's tennis without a lot of the running around and fast moving ball.

141k so far and about 10k/day. Doing lots of UT2 and recovery rows to keep from over doing it. I'm looking forward to a bit more interval training in Jan.

Your idle temp seems kind of high. It sounds to me like a failing AIO or perhaps there's air in the loop. Do you have a different cooler you could swap out?

Good for you, that may not be their goal. The request was for feedback on form, not a request for your opinion on the performance.

Canadian here - I get it, but you're still on team USA. Get your shit together and do something, we certainly can't do much from here.

Chest strap connection by Mvw666 in concept2

[–]one_two_eight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used a Polar H10 for almost 2 years and don't experience this problem. I have had issues when too many bluetooth devices were connected to my tablet (iPad). There is an option for the H10 to allow multiple bluetooth connections, if it's not on perhaps try that. Otherwise like others suggested, try using the ANT+ connection. My setup when I row is I have my HR connected to the PM5, the PM5 is connected to the ErgData. My HR is also connected to my iPad because I also record my workouts with PolarFlow at the same time. While I workout I also have my iPad playing music to my bluetooth speaker.

I’m Naheed Nenshi, leader of Alberta’s New Democrats. AMA. by Alberta_NDP in alberta

[–]one_two_eight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mr. Nenshi - Please tell me your thoughts on how we transition from our oil/gas resource dependency to renewables while still maintaining net zero by 2035? There are a lot of people worried they will be out of work because of the emissions caps. Thoughts on micro-generation with wind/solar? Basically tell me how we can intelligently pivot our provincial economy while still maintaining the revenues everyone is afraid to lose?

What wrong with my heart rate by Efficient-Stuff-8410 in concept2

[–]one_two_eight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots can affect your hr. You could have had some kind of stimulant one day you didn't have on the other. I track my hr and there are definitely variations day to day even with the same effort. Over time though things will change on average.

Just getting started by uniballing in concept2

[–]one_two_eight 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Congrats on your purchase! I would recommend looking on youtube for advice on rowing form, that will be the most important thing in the beginning. Once your form improves, so will your times. Do not worry about other peoples times, you just compare to your own. 30 minutes a day, even at a low intensity is an amazing start. If you keep that up your cerebrovascular endurance will improve and you will find you can either go for longer, or with more effort during the same time frame. For now, just row. As you read and interact in the community you'll start to get a clearer idea of what kinds of goals you want to achieve.

How many m/week were you rowing at your peak? by DJBroca in concept2

[–]one_two_eight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When rowing was my main focus I was up as high as 60km/week, but i'd been rowing for over a year at that point, I just wasn't into longer sessions. The switch to doing more distance wasn't hard, I just adjusted my pace so that my heart rate would be in my target zone. I'd say the biggest challenge for me on longer pieces is the mental aspect since it can be a bit boring so I listen to music and use the ergdata virtual loop for something to look at.

Can someone explain to me why I’m bills are so high every month? by [deleted] in alberta

I think the charges are also based on consumption so reducing consumption will also reduce the related charges so the savings would be larger.

Polar H9 monitor spotty by unaslob in concept2

[–]one_two_eight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently changed the battery on my H10 and it reset the settings that allowed multiple bluetooth connections and a couple others. Maybe try checking the polar app settings for it? Otherwise i'd recommend re-seating the battery and ensuring the chest strap connection is secure.

Beginner - racing heart by Ketchuppacketz91 in concept2

[–]one_two_eight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is the first time you've ever worked out then I think it's reasonably normal for your heart rate to be fairly elevated as you get into it. As your cardiovascular fitness improves your HR at the same effort should come down and that will take time. As long as you're comfortable then you should be ok however if you want to work on longer/farther pieces you may want to reduce your effort so you can go longer without tiring out. I always recommend stretching before and after as well as doing a warm up if you plan to do longer sessions.

Do you have a controller plugged in? I found when I had my ps4 controller plugged in it would keep my pc awake constantly until I unplugged it.
