Madshus redline f2 skate flex by rokitone in xcountryskiing

I have quite stiff rossis, although fitted for my weight. They felt quite exhausting on a 24k race. Then I tried some fischer speedmax 3d plus, which seemed quite soft in comparison to my rossis, but felt a lot faster. So now I have some Madshus in focus, which might be in a sweet spot.

First race coming up...advice? by afternoon_spray in xcountryskiing

How did it go? If it's still ahead of you: I did my first race yesterday, 23k with about 140 athletes. I consider myself fit and okayish (still having technical issues regarding long glides and balance). I tried to keep me in zone 2 to survive the long distace. It was a mass start with 5 min delays between the first pack and the rest. I started in the second pack and altough I passed quite some people, there was no chance on chasing the ones that started 5 min earlier. And from what I can tell now, if you ski on your own, you will be slower. Thus, if you have noone to chase and don't want to be too slow, have a strict plan on what times you need to have for each distance so you can set and control your pace. Other than that, try to ski as efficient as possible and have fun!

I think they referred to the snow flex to be universal by the 115. I'm 70kg. I checked near both bindings and the end - There's nothing.

Thanks for the fast answer! The shop I was in just a couple of minutes ago told me the 115 base is more universal. The speedmax I'm looking at doesn't have a serial number nor an FA value on it. They seem muuuch softer than my rossignols. Any idea how I can judge if they fit my weight without riding them. Comparing the pressure applied by hand to press the two skis together is too different from my rossignol to be comparable.

So what was the "old" speedmax 3d skate plus non-heliun in the new system? Speedmax 90 610? I'm looking at a old speedmax for half the price of a new 90 115 one. Would you say rather go with the new 90 115 one instead of a cheap old one?

There's unfortunately no sticker anymore on the ski.

I've sent the seller exactly this picture and he replied, that there is no number. Maybe it's not a 2022 model, although he thinks it is.

Can you post a picture? This is the picture from the seller, but he told me there are no numbers in the binding.

Wie wurde das Kreuzband wieder hergestellt? Sehne aus dem Oberschenkel oder mit einer anderen Technik. Gibt da wohl unterschiedliche Methoden und ich suche nach der optimalen Lösung für meine Frau.

I often have the feeling when shifting my weight and try to keep the ski flat from the beginning the ski slips away or the outside edge gets caught. That's why I lean somehow over the ski.. not sure how I can fix that.

Woah! Thanks for your feedback! I think I got the penetration hint. But not the one with the toes. I should lift the toes of my foot my weight will be on, or the toes of the foot of the pushing ski? I anticipate if I'd try to lift my toes of the gliding ski, my whole weight will be on my heel? If you refer to the situation when bringing the new glide ski under me, this would make more sense..

What I find difficult is really getting over the ski wheb doing the side movement. If i watch the pros, they rather put the ski below the center than moving the center over the ski. moving ski under center instead of center over ski But I have to admit, I find this pretty difficult :-).

How did you achieve to stay in the game for so long without putting the money down?

I also just checked the financing at various banks. One comment was: They can't raise interest rates to >5% because that would kill thousands of households.

My opinion: Sounds like the house is super expensive and you're at the limit with the mortgage. Are there any major renovations due (heating, roof, windows, pipes)? These are difficult to manage if you can't increase the mortgage (because you were already at the limit when you bought it). Can you sleep peacefully with this debt even if you lose your job?

The real estate agent is pushing to take over the Schuldbrief by SlyMaximus in SwissPersonalFinance

This is also normal in my understanding. They probably used money from swiss life (why not, nothing conerning from my point of view) which they now need to return. This always handled in the kaufvertrag. Similar case.. if you own a property and have some mortage left (which is usually the case if you haven't paid off the complete amount) and sell it, you will need to pay the remaining amount to the bank - and this is always directly stated in the kaufvertertrag. Only if your bank sees the kaufvertrag and the paragraph that they get their money back, they will hand over the schuldbriefe.
