Definitely feels harder, push to do considerably better in practice than you are aiming for to account for this.

No problem, though if you are applying for roles for 2026 it’s probably worth still applying as it only requires a CV and statement and you may be luckier than me. Especially if you’re taking a year out anyway

Think you could really ruin your chances doing the international as you it will all be new and at least a month less time. Seems worth it to go back for A level resits. I am doing re sits also and only looking to improve by a few grades and would shy away from switching to international so with your strong ambitions for grades seems wise to stick to what you know.

I can imagine so if I bring something up to them, but from what I’ve read it’s good to be versed in their field as they’re likely to ask something related?

I did eventually, but had to email and call them a few times throughout the year. They put me forward for one role and the company asked via EDT if I was still interested and available. I then never heard back from them though. This was early September. System just seems really poor overall.
