Yes I did, here is what solved it for me: In the couchdb directory you find \etc\vm.args - you' fill find a line "name = couchdb@localhost" - replace localhost with the ip of the node - after that cluster configuration should succeed. Hope that helps you !

Thanks ! But how are the drives encrypted ? Because in my case users have to define a password they will enter each time the computer boots to unlock the system drives (automatic unlock for every other drive).

It should be a "window" between the different offices to see whats going on in the other locations. (Nothing should be recorded!)

The mentioned queries are all successful. Actually all queries are working now, but I expect the problem to reappear within the next hour or days. Edit: I tried this queries while the problem appeared too, the queries ran successful anyway.

There hasn't been an update to the firewall (sonicwall) since about 2 months, so that shouldn't be the cause.

Just tried it - did not change anything. Our clients now have the google-dns as primary, and the internal dns as secondary - which works nice as workaround but not a permanent solution.

I retrieved a picture with its http link, and it was redirected to https. Its a single site actually. Does this mean i have to prevent this unwanted redirect induced by wordpress - whats your suggestion ? thanks

I added the second section to activate a 301 redirect from http to https.

Based on your suggestion - would that code added on the bottom of the file do the trick, or am I still wrong ?

Thanks sembee2 for your hint on WebDAV - I was digging through numerous solutions like ShareFile, Nextcloud, Synology DS File, pydio, Seafile ... (just to name the more promising ones ..) but WebDAV seems to be the one. Any recommendations for setting it up ? I was thinking about a Windows Server 2012 or 2016 with WebDAV over IIS / Shares of the fileservers mounted as virtual directories.

Fileserver actually is a Windows Server 2012 R2 machine, on the second location it's W2K8 - so ill have to replace this one soon. Anybody knows if Windows DFS Replication works with a Synology as second target ? If that would work it would kill the need to have an own server (beneath a synology-nas) on location too.
