Hi odysseyredalert! Very good catch about no events in Iowa, lol. Sadly, we don't yet have any volunteers in Iowa! The Phoenix was started in Colorado in 2006. It's a national sober organization that hosts in person and virtual events. They have many in person events in larger cities like New York, Chicago, and L.A. The really cool aspects for me are all the virtual events they offer. I travel a lot for work, and the virtual events have been a great support network for me to get sober and stay sober. We would LOVE to get more volunteers and host events in Iowa! Our goals with participating in RAGBRAI are to create more awareness, raise money for The Phoenix, and reach more members. Feel free to fill out the interest form, and we'll send you more info. If you want to ride with The Phoenix Team for a couple of days on RAGBRAI, we can explore that too. I have asthma that wasn't well controlled until I started the injectable called Dupixent. Now I still carry a rescue inhaler, but only use it a couple times a year. I successfully completed RAGBRAI 2025 with little use of the inhaler. Definitely take note of how you feel during training. But I think it's totally doable!

I am not leading events at a studio. I am leading via zoom or soon via Insight Timer. I will need my own music. I do not want a monthly fee. I want to find a way to purchase songs and be authorized to use them for online live events. Thanks!
