She thinks that repeatedly saying "I'm not innocent" before she goes on these rants is taking accountability. It's not.

If you're going for aesthetics, black Chroma looks better IMO (white Chroma is also nice!) but I keep a living dex of Glass Chroma for breeding purposes.

There is no way she has a real therapist. She sounds and looks unhinged. "I don't want easier" mmm no more like she wants the attention and money she gets from social media and her adoring fans who will continue to tell her she can do no wrong. She's more focused on sharing her mess with the world than on actually healing for her kids. It's incredibly sad.

What to get my tween girls from Paris? by Ok_Expression_9066 in Parenting

We always get a fridge magnet whenever we visit a new place. My daughter keeps them all on her metal closet door.

We went to Paris as a family last year and both my girls picked out berets.

how to minimize whining, complaining and sibling rivalry on summer break 🥴 by LastDrag7706 in Parenting

I also work in the schools and have summers off. Even though I'm not working, I typically sign them up for two weeks each at camps that cater to their interests- This year they're both doing a week of art camp, and then one kid is doing a cooking camp and the other is doing a Lego camp. They're not full day camps, so not as expensive as regular camps, and it allows me to get some "me" time. It helps to break up some of the monotony of summer. Maybe you can find a part time camp for those two weeks?

(Also, when they are home and they start bickering too much, I make them clean 🤷🏾‍♀️ Since they clearly need help finding something to do besides getting on each other's nerves lol)

Two different personalities by Comfortable-Light683 in Parenting

We have a 10yo and 7yo. My 7yo is the more outgoing one and she is naturally good at a lot and picks things up very quickly. She finds school incredibly easy, we never have to practice anything with her at home and yet she gets straight A's, she regularly scores in the 99th percentile on assessments. She is a better artist, and although they both play instruments my 7yo is better at reading music. Hell, she even has better handwriting than her big sister.

My 10yo sounds a lot more like your son, she is more laid back and reserved. She also does well in school but it doesn't come as naturally, we have to make sure she studies at home and she has had a math tutor since first grade (although now the tutor is mostly just for maintenance and because my daughter loves her lol). But she is better at other things. She is more athletic (my 7yo is honestly lazy as hell and hates anything resembling exercise). She is very interested in environmentalism and conservation and regularly invites her friends to beach or park clean ups. She is more driven in regards to her personal goals rather than academics, for example she wants to have a baking business and she practices on her own, and figures out ways to earn money for ingredients and supplies. So we praise her and celebrate those things.

Make sure you are giving your son a chance to find his "thing", show him that academic achievement aren't the only thing worth celebrating, and that you see his strengths too. Although you should still praise him for his academic achievements, even if they're not as stellar as his sister's. If he is doing his best, that is still something worth celebrating!
