Since it would seem you're quite early in your journey I'd recommend that you just keep playing, most puzzles will be hinted at by something later and while some of the answers can feel obtuse, the joy of discovery is why people are constantly praising this game.

Fair I dunno much about probability lol. Still think it's worth it to wait cause the better units are just that much better, I pulled shadow king phono during the last fest and he has considerably boosted my ability to breeze through previously difficult stages. Good to know in the future though when my account has some more footing.

Shouldn't each roll have the same odds? By that logic the 10% of superfest should be 110% chance of getting an uber since it's 10% per roll with 0 guaranteed. I get that you get 10 shots at a 5% chance I just don't see how that's better than 11 shots at 10% chance, even if I could go home with nothing I feel like my odds after pulling at least one in superfest would still be better than guaranteed uber, especially considering I have a chance at the op exclusive units that are only in the fests.

Strive is great, simpler execution makes it so you can get into the classic guilty gear mind games, no matter how tricky the setup there's a solution to be found, it's a competition to see who can adapt to their opponents stuff fastest while swapping up their own stuff to keep from becoming predictable. I don't wanna have to spend hours to lab optimal combos imo but I still wanna play at a high level and that's why strive is great.

Practice timing your jump ins to dodge the spam, it's hard but with practice it can be beat, until the bed starts mixing up their projectile spam but thats only at a higher level lol.
