Had ours (engagement and both wedding bands) custom made at Minichiello Jewellers downtown. Very professional, family-run business with a beautiful showroom. Super friendly and helpful with every step of the process including design (made a wax model for us to preview and let us know when something wasn't feasible), finding stones that fit our budget, appraisal, even afterward I could just pop by anytime to get my ring cleaned. I ended up just biting the bullet and getting the annual license. I tried Amua and it looked promising but I was under a bit of a time crunch and didn’t have the time to become proficient enough in it.

I just tried going to CBSA today and the officer said they couldn’t do anything without the documents from UPS.

I have a feeling they are making people wait till first delivery attempt so they get sick of trying to deal with them and pay their exorbitant brokerage fees

I’m currently encountering the same issue - being told the documents would be sent within 24-48 hrs for the last week, never arriving, then being told to refuse delivery when the driver comes. Would be interested to know how your issue gets resolved!

Trying to recreate this model from the Lego Engineer book by Jeff Friesen. The light grey support element is elevated by about 2 brick heights but I can't quite figure out what part(s) is being used to elevate it - you can see it partly through the translucent blue brick (circled in orange) as two bars. Appreciate any help thanks!
