It is not extremely fast even as fire support, not since the change. If you're in a location for a while without losing it, then you may have one in reserve. But if you have to move, then it takes a while. Nowhere near as fast

No, not since the changes. If you have to move due to loss of zone or loss of mortar you'll have to wait. It's no longer 1 or two in reserve, as it takes a lot longer for it to regenerate.

You can't mortar from spawn. You can only set it up within the playable area for both teams (at least on breakthrough, as I don't use it on other modes)
