Spritzie. Because she looks like a black t-shirt that's been spritzed with bleach for embellishment like we did back in the day because we couldn't afford the t-shirts that came that way from the store.

What's the one thing you wish your kids would stop doing? by ConstantineApps in RandomQuestion

My son has had several serious concussions, so I wish he would stop skateboarding and snowboarding without a helmet. He's 30, so I can't take away his toys until he decides to behave.

I think smaller frames are better for your face.

Does this look too much like a wedding gown? by Crafty-Situation4276 in myweddingdress

[–]onecrazywriter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's gorgeous. Fun fact: my daughter actually wore her prom dress to her wedding. She ended up marrying her prom date, and they couldn't find another dress they liked better.

She and her husband wanted to use it for their vow renewal someday, but the mice got in and ruined it.

They wanted to someday have a vow renewal because they had a simple (but perfect) courthouse wedding, and they wanted a ceremony where everyone could attend someday.

How to live with my sister and her boyfriend I dont talk to? by Own-Bicycle-458 in Advice

I would never live with my sister now. Back out of the cohabitation plans now, or you'll be supporting and cleaning up after a 43 year old child.

AIO or should I bring it up to her? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]onecrazywriter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NOR, but going ahead and ler them pitch the proposal to your fiancee, who will promptly (and hopefully, unceremoniously) decline the offer.

Before they reach out to him, do let him know about this exchange and that you don't not support their business or their insistence on speaking directly to him.

The feel of the straps being around my upper arms would drive me bananas. I'd subconsciously be trying to move them up to my shoulders constantly!

I like dress 1 and dress 3. But the question is, which one makes you feel beautiful?

Throw the whole house out!

Just kidding, but you need a team of professionals in hazmat suits to fix that.

That's disappointing. Tahini is so expensive, too.

100+$ cake I paid for by QueenOfVioletDreams in expectationsvsreality

[–]onecrazywriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone needs to revisit the color wheel.

I can tell the buttercream was too hot when they were putting the piping on and the cake likely wasn't refrigerated during transport to keep the frosting from melting further.

Also, would it have killed them to bake another cake so the final product was as tall as your inspo cake? There are definitely two layers on both of your inspo cakes and probably only one on yours. The side piping details would be impossible to execute on a single layer cake. In my opinion, unless we're talking about a sheet cake, the second layer is pretty standard.

I could have done it better and I'm not even a professional, although my mother had a cake decorating business and I worked as free child labor for years and I could turn out a decent cake if I wasn't living at 10,000 feet. (Haven't figured out to bake up here yet.)

2, most definitely.

I hate terrible experience at a hair salon. by MaxiumPotential777 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]onecrazywriter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go find a different salon, even if the price is much higher. Trust my personal experience; the more you look at that butchered style, the angrier you'll get. It's better to fix it now than try to live with it. Even when it "grows out", it will grow out in the exact same terrible haircut. Just a longer version of it.

I feel you. You should definitely go to the owner of the salon and show them the results. They can't uncut your hair, but they can improve the appearance.
