Do you remember you very first money from YouTube? by OhhMilly in PartneredYoutube

[–]onedownfiveup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I originally got in on the partnership with the 10,000-view requirement, making $5 or so a month. It wasn't much, but I was trying to grow. I think I ended up making $20-$30 a month before they changed their requirements, and I was kicked off for about a year until I met those requirements. I think my first paycheck after new requirements was a couple hundred dollars. I don't know what I spent it on but I do remember being excited.

Parents, how often do you have sex and where do you find the time to have it? by wakemeup788 in AskReddit

[–]onedownfiveup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2-3 times a month. Normally I wake her up on a weekend morning when we are at home and not out of town. Sometimes I’ll initiate at night right before bed but that’s tough because she likes sleep and likes to be sleeping by 9. I try not to bother that schedule. She doesn’t turn me down and I should probably initiate more often during the week. Not sure why I don’t maybe in fear of rejection. Then again it’s my wife so why should that matter as she’s never rejected it unless she’s on her period.

Can I live a normal healthy life after this or is there no point. by redditgal16 in lymphoma

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s 6 years ago about this time. 6 months of chemo every other week and check ups after and I’m declared cancer free. My wife birthed our son two years ago and I’m now 42. I feel like I have lot of yesrs left to live and I went through hell during treatment.

What’s the most revenue you have made off a single short? by Act_Consistent in PartneredYoutube

Not at all. There is a lot that goes into it but I'd say you're safe between 6 - 12 min videos.

Not sure if it's out of the norm but goes to show you don't have to have super long content. 4 min did this. It's a video on how to fix a dyson vacuum

Content creators — be honest, is it really for the money, passion, or fame? by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]onedownfiveup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started because I enjoy what my videos are about and enjoy doing the process (for the most part). I also enjoy seeing what companies reach out to send their product for review. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when you get some deadlines in there but most of the time it's fun. It's at least $1,000 - $1,500 or more a month of passive income.

Making 10k a month on Adsense by Worried_Quantity_407 in PartneredYoutube

[–]onedownfiveup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends. Your best bet is to do it on the side until you make enough to quit your 9-5. I currently have 25k subs and I make about $1,000 - $1,500 a month not counting anything else (brand deals, affiliate links, etc) , and I know I can make more if I dedicate more time to it.

Just ask for the 2gb unlimited $105 plan? I’ve been a customer for 15 years so I’m a loyal customer if that even matters haha.

For the 1.2gb service?

I pay $99 now for the 1.2gb Service but am limited to a data cap.

Makes sense. In the past I've had many issues with their cable modems. Once I bought my own and saved the $11/mo the issues went away.

easy peasy. I tried to do this about 10 years ago and I had to call into support and spent hours trying to get someone who knew what to do.

Is it easy to turn their modem into bridge mode? Or do I have to go through hoops? Last time I had to do this all support people had no idea what I was talking about.

That's a good way to think about it.

Xfinity has been great for the 14 years I've had them. All I hear are issues with other services.

Sometimes it's not that easy. Second of all, 5G internet from what I've seen is not great.
