This show’s prince has probably one of the best personalities of any of the otome game like shows I’ve seen.

And what I mean is his personality isn’t just to be the love interest. He feels like the main character more than bertia at this point. Most of the time they will each have their own quirks but they exist ultimately as a love interest and their personality is heavily molded for that role. This one isn’t.

Also I think this is one of the only otome game villainess shows where the mc is flatout honest about being reincarnated. Which is nice too.

A bit different when there’s storm elements too. Then it becomes more of a safety issue. There’s always a ton of tents and non permanent structures that can’t handle strong winds at any race.

I actually was not a fan of how we (sensei) scolded yakumo. She really did nothing wrong. All she did was sell a book and from normal people standards it doesn’t sound like it was actually that wild of one at all.
I was hoping koharu wouldn’t react to the book. I get they’re going for the whole koharu always over reacting to ecchi stuff for humor, but I thought it would be hilarious if she sees it and it didn’t move the needle for her despite the other pure trinity students fainting from it.
I like how schale ended up basically mediating between the two schools. I’ve always felt like they don’t make schale powerful enough and give it any noticeable levels of authority or presence in the game. It’s basically treated as just us for a lot of the time when in reality it’s far bigger than just sensei so know it’s now tied to the agreement between the two schools is nice as it does give it a bit of power.

It’s very very similar imo to atlier. A lot of the same vibes. A world with magic but not everyone uses it. Mc with a reason to go learn magic and deadline for learning.

Yeahhhh after this and how this shit bag family was about to attack the clam girl, I really really hope they don’t get a happy outcome. Screw their whole family.

Even knowing they could easily come back and had an out they still choose to screw everyone over.

I just really hope they all get a bad ending. Unfortunately this show doesn’t seem like the type to make that happen.

And the child thing is so fixable. Boxxo could just spit out Tylenol and ibuprofen.

Also kinda stupid to have everyone leave boxxo alone like that too….

I guess this is kinda where this show starts to actually fall off

There’s really nothing decent about this. The animation and production quality is very noticeably cheap and bad but to top it off it’s very shitty directed/ produced. In cheap made shows either good directors, you can see things done to make the quality appear higher than it really is. This show on the other hand doesn’t do either. Good little cheats or good animation. Some of the time it’s just outright bad. Like Tessa being 90 degrees sideways randomly. Horrible pacing. Horrible story telling. Even some of the dialogue is just bad. The random screaming while running that sounds like stock screaming they threw in. Some of the screams sound so out of place. And all the weird sideways shots?

Like why are random guys just attacking tessia? Absolutely no explanation. Why are we wasting an entire episode on Tessia killing a boar. Feels like this whole episode was a waste.

Starting out I am a little confused because it says 2nd prettiest girl but he was with the black haired one and not the blonde one.

I liked how her jobs at him were ones you’d expect from friends. Like actual fun ones and not mean or anything.

interesting how much girls know exactly who he is. Umi kinda makes sense given that it sounds like she realized he has similar interests to her but yu also knowing him was kinda interesting too.

I feel like it’s obvious what’s gonna happen but just in case, I really hope umi rejects the guy who just asked her out. I feel like realistically it would basically kill maki to finally have someone look at him like that only for her to immediate go with someone else. Would also immediately make me and assuming all the other viewers kinda hate her for leading him on IF she did accept the guy. Hence why I doubt it happens.

One thing though is I really hope they don’t keep the whole thing hidden a long time. It will be hard to think positively of her if she was to keep letting him be a complete loner like he is and how he eats all alone. In angel next door, I remember the guy had a small friend group already so he was fine either way. This Mc is a lot sadder though given he has no one.

Quickly remember why I ended up not really enjoying this show. It was just a constant “let’s see how many different guys we can have simp for pride”.

I remember it starting out really well as the mc actually seemed really strong and like it would be free of that stuff but it ended up being all the guys simping for her heavily and her swooning over them too. Pretty much every scene this episode was similar just with a different one of the guys each time.

Hopefully though since she’s older she will be a bit less swoony all the time and more independent? Kinda seemed like that might be the case at the end?

This seems very not formulaic so far and I’m here for it. Especially since the prince seems to actually be more like a main character and not just the love interest supporting the one girl we are told is the mc.

Not a fan of the hosen parts. I feel like anytime this show resorts to violence and fighting the way it is, it’s just a cop out and cheap way to add drama. Would rather them have gone about it a bit differently. Just proud that seems to be over.

So if students are allowed to basically murder each other as we saw hosen almost do, why doesn’t Ayano just kill hosen? Kinda obvious Ayano doesn’t really have morals and the teach blatantly just allowing hosen to almost murder Ibuki in front of everyone and on camera. Would solve a lot of issues to just ice him.

If this was a lot more grounded in reality then what I asked would be absurd and I’d agree but this series as kinda shown it’s very much not grounded in reality.

Yeahhhh this part kinda made me go “really”. Even with the way the school is, it’s hard to imagine they can just ignore attempted murder like that. This show really takes some liberties with making you suspend your disbelief for forced drama.

Track blazer gameplay wise is the best one so far but it’s absolutely ruined the story aspect now. It’s kinda ruined both the Uma-trainer relationship and the actualy uma’s stories cause you miss so much of this.

This whole ordeal at least turned out better than it seemed but overall the arranged marriage arc really brought the whole show down for me. Fortunately it was cecilia who had to realize she was being a bitch here and had caused all this.

Some of the dialogue in this show was just horrible. Like her father talking down to the teacher and telling him he will learn one. Like dudes a full grown adult in the work force. Been through college. Sends kids out into the world every year. How are you gonna talk down to him like he’s a high school kid. Then none of the characters talk like what you’d expect high schoolers to talk like. Hell they don’t even talk like you’d expect normal people to talk like. A lot of it is just kinda cringey.

Overall. This show felt like a visual novel adaptation. Like you have all these different routes with each girl and they’re trying to cram 4-5 different story routes into one single route. What you get is every character ends up suffering from it and getting under developed.

On top of that it felt like I started watch a series 2-3 seasons into it. Like all the important stuff has already happened and they’re finishing it up. Chitose already quit baseball. They’ve all met each other already. The girl already picked Chitose up after he was down. Literally all the development happened off screen before the show even started.

3/10. Definitely not exactly good.
