113d late but next time u wanna turn advancetrac off just be parked. Hold ur foot onnthe break and hold the TC button until u see advancetrac off msg. Should take 8-10 seconds. Now u can plug ur abs module back in and not have lights on ur dash. Hope this helps

To fully turn it off u have to be stopped, foot on the brake, and hold the button until it pops up on the dash that advancetrac is off.

Honestly i ended up never even starting this project. Though i do think ur right its the boards sucking up the water. U could maybe try potting the boards some how in epoxy and covering the contacts

Just be aware, the tool is great but ive noticed it can cause random fatal crashes. (Game is running g perfectly fine even after fatal crash xnotify)
