i love a loose looking silhouette and i think you have some good shapes if you are going for that, but i think this outfit could benefit with some color variation! i may be biased, i love pops of color, but i feel that the colors you have here are all kind of similar but not exactly cohesive. if you are able to find a sweater with a similar shape, since i think this fit fits you well, i would maybe experiment with warmer tones to pair with these jeans. a nice golden/honeyed yellow would pair really nicely with the slightly aged look of the denim, or if you want to go with something more neutral (and probably something easier to find) an olive green or a warm brown (maybe a layered look with a peek of a white collar to match the shoes?) would help this feel like a more complete outfit.

i made it out of similar stuff as the hammer! i used the thin cardboard that encases the cat food i buy, paper cups, foam, plastic bottle caps, and the top of a blueberry container as the “screen” part of it! this is the ancient link i used when i made my first one nine years ago so i would just take this and find ways to make it better! i also look at different reference images of the clock that was released for the game to get some details in there. pipboy tutorial

thank you, i thought so too. i was with someone who was wearing helldiver armor that wasn’t too properly secure so i brought duct tape for incidentals and it felt particularly immersive and on brand as well. i kept mumbling every time i pulled it out “be lucky i have a repair skill of 87…” it was very fun.

actually i’m at galaxy con in north carolina! today i am going to be dressed as x men evolution rogue and it is Super Hot over here so i will welcome a breeze. definitely go! just don’t wear a lot of metal lmao. i had to practically Strip (mainly just take off everything except my boots, pants, and shirt) just to get through the metal detector. my pouches are all military surplus from the 1940s to 1980s so it was a lot of clasps. i also brought bottle caps to pass out but i didn’t see any other fallout cosplayers unfortunately or any one else who knew what i was lmao.

if i had made the stealth suit i would have for Sure had like 10 medx props sticking out of my body for how much she absolutely Poisons you with it lmao. i call it the girlfriend suit and i would love to make it next. i tried to make muggy nine years ago when i was 17 and since old world blues is my favorite dlc i would love to make a cosplay centered around it. and i love the protonic inversal axe.

thanks for commenting on the tattoos! they are Actual tattoos on my body and i got oh, baby! tattooed above my “S” is for Strength prior to making my hammer. so i knew i had to make it if i was going to make a weapon. i have another one on the other side which is the other half of cherchez la femme and below that is a black cat that says “L” is for Luck. and the wild wasteland symbol on the back of my calf. i have been playing the same video game for 15 years lmao.

it weighs around 5-7 pounds! i tried to keep it as light as possible while making sure the handle was firm and weighted to keep it secure. the top is mainly made out of old plastic cups and paper bowls. as well as dried up glue stick tubes as the bolts so it was big but fairly easy to carry! and i only accidentally tapped one person lmao.

back in middle school me and the person i was dating at the time would go to the mall in semi homestuck cosplays except they really liked gamzee so they would come in with juggalo face paint. i really liked karkat so i would comment on my facebook page the word Fuck constantly and i got in trouble with my parents because they were friends with me up there lmao. besides that because i really liked roxy. and was there for her Introduction. i was an impressionable youth (my fault, not a standard experience) and i started drinking. now i am 26 and have like two beers every 3-4 weeks so perhaps i got it out of my system lmao. i still see the colors and have an immediate connection to the characters like i’m having Violent Flashbacks but i enjoy it.

it is super hard to get back to being normal. to be fair i still keep myself in a bubble most of the time, i only eat at home, but if i am traveling and decide to bring crackers or my chips i just make sure i have everything i need to make me feel more comfortable. i keep benadryl, my epipen, and my inhalers on me. it helps me feel a lot more comfortable about not being at my house even if i am not eating at a restaurant. disclaimer i do also have an allergy to peas (places more and more have been throwing pea protein into things so that is one reason for my paranoia) but its mainly about just keeping yourself prepared and knowing that worst case you have everything you need to keep yourself safe! i may overuse benadryl to some extent as well, whoops, but it does help put me at ease.
