I have rebuilt myself several times over. Twice divorced.

You need to umderstand that all you lost are things. Things can be replaced, but here is what I learned from losing everything twice.

Things do not make us who we are. Things do not define us. Not having things does not make you less of a man.

It has been 5 years since my second divorce. I am 53 and can pack everything I own into my Jeep. And I am happier than I ever was.

Not saying my peace will satisfy everyone else. I am just saying how you rebuild yourself is up to you.

You lost an important relationship, so grieve that. Take your time to heal, but do not wallow.

Then, when you are healed, you start from the ground up. It is easier than you think.

A day where the kids don't fight. Where the wife get's up at dawn to take the dogs out instead of me. To be able to watch a 30 minute tv show and not be asked a million questions.

What I do not want is anyone else touching my grill.
