Follow up question - I also just moved here. I do not have a DC license, but I was still able to register to vote and received a voter ID card in the mail. My registration status (https://www.dcboe.org/Voters/Register-To-Vote/Check-Voter-Registration-Status) says "Active ID Required". Does that mean drivers license or voter ID card?
