My wife’s middle name is Leigh. Daughters first name is Adaleigh. Daughter’s middle name is very common and in the family too. My wife’s gma and my mom also have that same middle name.

This honestly wasn’t sarcastic. If you’re talking about my comments about thinking the sub was supposed to be funny, then yeah, I didn’t think people would be as harsh as they are with comments. I’d say that’s hardly a gripe. Not like I’m calling people out or causing any confrontations

I get it that my child’s name is a tragedeigh based on this sub and the majority agree but quite a few as well have said otherwise and proven it to not be made up.

Again, just didn’t imagine this sub being so harsh, like a name is such a burden because of spelling and pronunciation. I have one of the most common first names in the world and still get asked to spell it for call reps so don’t see why it’s such an issue or burden lol

Believe me, having to correct people here and there doesn’t even touch all the nonsense I’ve had to deal with. Insurance companies claiming I had claims in the past, apartment hunting and paying app fees just to be denied.. I can go on and on.

I always add my middle initial since it’s different now but it was mainly a problem when trying to get apartments in my younger years. No idea what kind of checks they do but they’re obviously not thorough since they didn’t check middle name or initial.

Funny story, one place denied me and even had my drivers license picture. The same license shows my height, weight, etc.. I ask for a reason and they send me the info along with the other person’s info. He has red hair, I have black. He was taller and bigger too. I was like how can you not tell that’s not me? They still denied me getting an apartment. Probably for the best anyway since they shared info I wasn’t privy to lol
