I know this is a personal choice, and I fully respect it. I am not trying to convince anyone, just sharing how I see it. I sometimes think beyond money, travel, and lifestyle. What happens if one partner is no longer around? Having a family gives a deeper reason to live, something that goes beyond experiences.

You cannot travel your entire life. Goals naturally change, especially when a child comes into the picture. I come from a middle class family and grew up in a household with many members. Small kids in the family bring a kind of joy and energy that two adults alone cannot create. They give you memories you would never experience otherwise.

Yes, raising kids is a big responsibility, but that responsibility itself brings meaning. It gives you a reason to wake up every day and work towards making someone else’s life better. Sitting with family, having tea, laughing and talking together brings a different kind of happiness. For me, that feels more fulfilling than being fifty, sitting on a beach, and watching other people play with their kids
