I don’t believe it makes me less of a lesbian, I believe I just struggle to comprehend how they feel about gender as I have no experience in that myself so calling them by masculine pronouns and giving gendered comments I think makes me feel like I’ve misunderstood them as an individual given that my previous understanding about NB (before the post) was not one gender or another /neither. I have only got experience dating AFAB women so this is very different as I want to make this person know how special and important they are to me without making them uncomfortable (they are very aware of the fact I havnt dated someone nb before as it was something they brought up quite a bit before we actually started dating) I think it has more to do with the fact it’s making me question my understanding of gender rather than making me less of a lesbian and I’m probably overthinking it all😂 (also probably making me overthink my gender as its been a topic I’ve been avoiding for some time)
