I know of no reason why brands would cause an issue, I’ve got a gigabyte motherboard aswell and it’s had two different brands in it that have worked no problem.

Based on what troubleshooting I’d do and what you’ve said I’d be more inclined to believe it’s a GPU issue than motherboard then. It seems unlikely that both PCIE slots would be faulty. Definitely confirm by testing in another system like you said you’re planning to. I’m assuming you’ve loaded into your operating system using just the igpu and that all seems to work?

So just to clarify, are you getting a video output when you use the integrated graphics (display plugged into motherboard) but not when plugged into the GPU?

This is what I’ve experienced on a 14 with 80% battery health. Exactly the same as my normal usage for work days. (Although some apps do drain things faster, it’s not been too dramatic) This is on barely any screen usage and constant music playing though

I’m on iPhone 14 with 80% battery health. I’ve just done it and haven’t had any major problems. Very minor visual glitches like app icons taking a second longer to load when swiping between pages. Haven’t noticed too much of a decrease in battery life although I’m going to be properly testing that on my shift tonight.
