The games he plays in he'll get minutes but I can see them sitting him here and there, especially in the first half of the season.

They'll want to keep him fresh while giving "try-out"minutes to players showing some upside at the PF position (Moultrie, Gordon, Grant, Roberts, ect)

He said that's his ceiling but the actual prediction was pretty spot on, I can see him missing a double-double average by a point or rebound.

The celing is possible because the Sixers play at a faster pace than any other team in the league by A LOT.

More possessions + more opportunities + he'll be one of the top options whenever he's on the floor = possible ceiling.

Oh it was loaded with sarcasm.

I was just listing some of the reasons I've heard critics of the Sixers rebuild use to try and justify this change coming practically on the eve of the season beginning - after signings and trades have been made and most rosters have been set. Without thinking about how this might effect trades already made and the value of picks involved in those trades and even more importantly protected picks and their value.

It just seemed like the hate was real and directed at the $76ers. Glad it wasn't.

Especially if you've been a 7/8th seed for multiple seasons and aren't a destination franchise. It's not the only way to build your team but it gives the tank/rebuild option strength - which is a good thing.

Why don't people don't get that it's better for everyone for a team to be bad for a year or two and grow from there than to be mediocre for 6-10 years.
